"Anak" follows Diana Reyez as she struggles to hide her sexuality from her Catholic mother Iris Reyez.
In their small conservative hometown, Diana tries not to bring attention to herself. Until one evening with a near-kiss with her friend who is also a girl. After being caught, rumors begin circulating shortly threatening to reveal Diana's hidden identity.
