This film draws inspiration from my cousin's life experiences. Observing her navigate the challenges of growing up in a fractured family, I once found many of her actions 'incomprehensible.' It was only as I matured that I endeavored to gradually comprehend her concealed emotional struggles. Through this short film, my aim is to connect with individuals who share similar experiences.

Originally slated to be filmed in my hometown, Xinjiang, unforeseen circumstances like the pandemic and budget limitations led to a change in plans.
Consequently, the production was initiated in Beijing in May 2020.
