Ana do Carmo is graduated in Cinema at Federal University of Bahia, is CEO at Saturnema Films, is part of Gran Maître Films cinema collective and filmmaker at Lendo Mulheres Negras literature project. Wrote and directed in 2017 "The Box of 4 Rooms", selected to festivals in Brazil and abroad. In the same year, directed "Reverse", winner of Festival do Minuto award. In 2018, co-directed "Moon Seeds", selected to the Short Film Corner category of Cannes Film Festival. In 2019 directed and co-wrote "The Woman at the end of the World", selected to festivals in USA, Bangladesh and in Brazil. Was selected to PanLab 2019 screenwriting laboratory with "I, the Clay men", her new short film script. Besides being director and screenwriter, Ana do Carmo also works as director of photography and editor.
