Director Statement

An Uber Ride, produced/co-directed by Poet On Watch tells the timely story of a Black female protestor (Annisa A. Carter), an immigrant cab driver (Chumma Janardhan), and a drunk passenger (Milena Kareski) who share a ride from Newark Penn Station while commiserating over how government decisions, the complicity of liberalism and the fallacy of the American Dream's affect us in the era of Trump.
