Director Biography - Claudia Jo Uppendahl

Claudia is a proud New Englander from a small town in Southern Massachusetts. She holds a medical laboratory science degree specializing in microbiology and had decided to follow her passion of storytelling by leaving her medical career and moving to Florida.
​
She earned her MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University in 2022 and has experience as a screenwriter, director of photography, camera operator, 1st AD, director, and producer. Claudia has recently completed her thesis film An Interview With Lucy.

Claudia currently has a producer mentorship where she assists with day to day production needs.
​
She has been a type 1 diabetic since she was 5-years-old which has contributed to her level of discipline and attention to details.
​
She has two cats named Cody and Kittie and enjoys nature photography. She also has a lifelong passion for professional wrestling.
