AnHedonia

Plot: Anah (Anhedonia) is a fallen angel that hits the earth during the days when evil rules the world. Anah has amnesia and cannot recall her past in full detail. She is held as prisoner by the man who finds her in the alley, unconscious, and trades her to the devil's advocate, a drug dealer played by Tom Sizemore. She becomes imprisoned by the dark lord and finds herself behind bars with a little girl who believes that Anah is the guardian angel that she has been praying would save her. Anah has only enough memories to know that she is an angel, but has no idea if she is good or bad. The girl imprints an image of what Anah might be... and she accepts the role as guardian angel to this little girl who's family has been killed by the devil himself in the form of heroin. The memory returns to Anah that she was sent to earth with an amulet that holds her memories and the future. It is the key to discovering herself and her mission on earth. She seeks to find this amulet by retracing her path. She must overcome many obstacles to get on that path. The world has value for angels... but it's not always in the angels best interests. The clever angel finds her strength in the trust the little girl has in her and they break out of jail together. On their path, the little girl, Gracie, is abducted by a familiar face... Vondrake, the dark rival. Anah is now set in motion to find the amulet and the missing girl who believes in her. Anah returns to the man who sold her for drugs and interrogates him as to the whereabouts of her amulet, but the untimely arrival of the devil's advocate interrupts with deadly force.
The definition of the word anhedonia is simply the inability to feel pleasure or feel the enjoyment of pleasure. An = the lack of something. Hedonia = pleasure. So if this was an angel ... she would be a fallen angel.
The symbolisms and metaphors are in the characters, their dialogue, the visual and hidden clues, the colors that claim the screen .... it is..... The epidemic of heroin overdose that the plague doctors become heroin dealers... out in the open....wearing the plague mask and with the look of an apocalyptic raven coming to carry the souls who have been killed by the plague of heroin overdose. .... the child praying for a guardian angel is innocent and valuable to the darkness. She will later be revealed as having a direct line of communication with God, who no longer speaks to those left on earth. She represents our desires.... the answers from prayers don't arrive as we think they should, oftentimes... they are often hidden in the challenges or the struggles of life. So, the girl believes in an angel that is evil, but the evil is forgotten from the amnesia Anah wakes with from hitting the earth during the fall. Amnesia is a label for the way we start fresh in situations that are new, but they are just the same cycle as always... and it all will return to her patterns in later episodes. Anah must face it.

The angel begins to think herself as a good angel... not because the child was wrong, but because the angel imagined that the child saw her as something she wanted to believe herself. The goal is to find that child, but she has been abducted. So it is up to Anah to find strength in the reasons for the change and even in the face of adversity and the dark times that feel familiar, she must break free. Like a habit... like anything worth changing. Just got to see it to the win. Anah is in us all. She is the fight. She is the struggle. She is the hope and the strength.
An Hedonia the fallen.
The devil, Cokey... likes to seem bigger than the world. He buys bigger things. He pays for superficial things in place of kindness and truth. He is the powerful vain ruler. He is all bad. but he has a charm that is dangerous.
He owns all the plagues.
