An Evil Four All Seasons
“An Evil Four All Seasons is a four-part anthology film set in a seemingly innocuous townhouse tucked away in suburban America, belying an insidious history from both the house itself and those who called it home. Comprised of the four short tales that make up the films namesake, we catch glimpse of those who lived… and died… within the walls of this haven of horrors."

"Recognized for pushing the boundaries of storytelling within the horror genre, director-producer-writer B. John Holmes’ work has been described as “Somewhere between Eldritch Horror and the stuff that nightmares are made of.”
Occasionally turned his lens away from the realm of the dark, John has been an artistic fixture within the alternative scene for 25 years. Praised by several magazines and nominated for "Photographer of the Year" award. John is well renowned for his notably diverse eye, having captured from runway fashion show, glamorized Washington D.C. cultural events, and capturing some of the most unrestricted personalities. John has worked on numerous film projects such as his musically-inspired shorts, Hey Joe, and Wrong to working on the motion comic project Rexco’s Fight of the Century and Cancun ALL-STAR Fiesta weekend with Timaland documentary.
As a filmmaker I am intrigued by having an intrinsic draw towards the possibilities of the macabre. The hidden world and the people that lurk, live, work and even thrive there. From the simplicity to the extreme it’s always fascinated me. My inspiration for creating An Evil Four All Seasons comes from my love of compelling storytelling told in the simplest ways. Growing up watching classic horror from the 50s to the 80s where the primary focus was the story over the visual effects, I gained a greater appreciation of the necessity of a good story outclassing the presence of expensive special effects. It makes more sense for me to pull or create a complex story from a simple idea and put thought to film. Sometimes, the best way to tell a story is the simplest way. Simple idea + creative eye = compelling concept.
