Director Statement

An Essential Delivery is a film I felt like I needed to tell when I came back to New York City last summer in the height of Covid-19 and Asian hate crimes. I wanted to touch upon the fact that every Asian here in the U.S. are working hard to get by, just like anyone else. There will be ups and downs in life, and this film captures a little of both.
