Director Statement

As both an artist and filmmaker, this film is deeply personal to me. It explores the struggles of an artist who faces rejection from art galleries, and the guidance he receives from his graffiti artist uncle, who reminds him of the essence of artistic expression. I’ve lived through similar experiences, grappling with the pressures of conforming to expectations while trying to remain true to my vision. Through this story, I hope to inspire my peers and fellow artists to resist external pressures, embrace their unique voices, and remember why they started creating in the first place. This film is a celebration of authenticity, and my goal is to encourage others to stay true to themselves, no matter the obstacles.
