An-J Hays is a well-rounded artist, self-motivator, and a strong imaginative individual. Since An-J was young, her late mother immersed her in the arts of animation and music by playing their soundtracks on tape cassettes and CD’s. The most prominent movies An-J’s mother played were Pocahontas, The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Titanic, and The Prince of Egypt.

Through this approach, An-J has the ability to create movies, tv shows, and music videos in complete motion by harnessing her endless imagination. An-J originally expressed her talents through singing and songwriting. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Music at Otterbein University in 2015, she pursued an additional education in Animation at the Columbus College of Art and Design. An-J obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation in 2020 and began earning her career experience at Terra Galleries in May of 2020 for three years.

An-J has honed her diverse skills to Terra Galleries from pre-production pipelines through storyboarding, character design, and rigging, production through animation and music composition/arrangement, and postproduction through rendering, visual effects, layout and timing, and cinematography. An-J’s goal as an artist and musician is to create meaningful stories that can make the world a better place and bring the community closer together.
