Among Us

Kysionia Daye grew up in Durham, North Carolina, "The BullCity". Much of her inspiration and admiration to pursue a career in the arts is due to her passion for film and entertainment . Kysionia also gained the interest of dance from her uncle, Otis Daye (former Alvin Ailey Dancer), and pursued studies in ballet, jazz, modern, and hip-hop dance during much of her childhood into her adult years. As an aspiring entertainer since the age of 5, Kysionia's passion for acting in front of the camera soon led her to express the pursuit of the performing arts as well as modeling. She studied acting and screenwriting at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, and New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA; also additional acting and writing workshops with Actress Tasha Smith, Erica Hart of ABC Primetime, as well as others. Her experience spans from TV, Film, Stage and Print Modeling with a background in Performing Arts and Dance. Kysionia was cast in her first Television Appearance with BET, for show "Criminals At Work" (2016), playing the role of Donna Crogan and she is working on several TV/Feature Film projects in the Los Angeles and surrounding bay areas; TV One "For My Man" (2016), playing a detective and fiancé role; and a dancing role in "Shaft" (2018). I was recently selected as a Semi-finalist in the Get It Made Short film competition, which was exciting. I look forward to a long career in film!
