Americana

This film was screened at the Official Selection of 23rd Sarajevo Film Festival in the section of BH Film.
A random meeting on a moving train along the Californian coast. Originally from Sarajevo, Goran is a refugee turned US Army combat veteran and the single father of a teenage girl, Alice. Goran and Alice meet Dana, an L.A. based artist, originally from Spain. Dana and Goran start falling in love and connect like soulmates. Alice observes everything with her saint-like eyes.

Director Biography

I was educated in Europe and the US (Belgrade,Seattle,Boston).
I made several shorts and 2 feature length films since 1994.
My shorts were presented at Short Film Corner at the Cannes in 2007 and 2015.
My second feature film "Americana." (2017) was presented at the BH Film section of the 23rd Sarajevo Film Fest.
My first feature film "Who Doesn't Get Nuts isn't Normal." (2008) is a Dogme95 film.
