Rebecca Tennison is a bilingual actor who is fluent in Spanish and English. She is from a small town on the outskirts of Texas. Since from early childhood Rebecca has always been an entertainer, but wasn't able to professionally pursue her career until her adult years. She is multi-talented actor, writes, produces, cast, directs, and does voice-over as well. On her very limited spare time, she enjoys dancing, fishing, hiking, gun range shooting, cooking, and spending time with family and family friends. Rebecca has been married to her husband Garrick "Gary" Tennison for over 17 years. They are a biracial couple and blended family of seven children and seven grandchildren. It's easy to understand why they call themselves, "The New Millennium Brady Bunch!"
I hope my film Amelia, will inspire, educate, and encourage any one who is experiencing these types of mental health disorders or know someone who is going through it. We want Amelia to bring awareness about these particular mental health disorders, Dissociative Identity Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder, and how they effect a person who has suffered severe childhood trauma. These types of disorders aren't to often spoken about, much less taught to us. I hope this will inspire someone who is going through any type of mental disorder that they can overcome and be better understood. So many of us don't get the chance to really understand why some people talk to themselves, or act differently from oneself. I'm hoping Amelia film will peek people's interest, making them more curious about these types of disorders and how they can help someone they love or know cope with these difficult disorders. If Amelia film can help save one life, then that's the best reward and success I can ever ask for.
