A woman in a heavy metal band returns to the spot of her and her bandmates' abduction in order to try to transform into the alien suit that was given to her unwillingly during the abduction. While she tries this alone in the desert, someone interferes.

Andrew Bush has passion for Japanese culture, language, and
filmmaking. He is a SCAD alumnus. After graduating, he moved to Japan and lived there for three years.

Andrew is an expert storyteller with a vision for the bringing
authentic original stories to life.

Director Statement

Amano Recon would like to carry with it the spirit of bridging cultural gaps both behind and in front of the camera as well as a love for Japanese culture and cinema.

I thought of Amano Recon as a wav to combine all of the elements l'm passionate about into one project. I love heavv metal, aliens, Power Rangers, tokusatsu, American superheroes, and all things Japanese. If there is one story I'd like to tell, it is the story of these five friends by Suzy Clay-Hartman.
