Director Biography - Nikita Fatejev

Nikita Fatejev's journey as a filmmaker began in 2019, when he created his first film as part of his high school coursework. This early exposure to the filmmaking process sparked Nikita's interest in the medium and may have inspired him to pursue further projects in the future.

In 2021, Nikita had the opportunity to work as a director and cinematographer on the short film "Alterland," which was screened at the Just Film Festival (PÖFF) as part of the "Young Filmmaker" program.

"Alterland" is a short film that tells the story of a person with excessive ambitions living with a constant feeling of dissatisfaction with oneself and denying oneself simple pleasures of life, along the way dissolving in his ego. However, on the other hand, showing a fake studio world of creativity, not for the sake of art, but for exemplary success.
