Alma's recipe
Alma’s recipe follows the routine of Alma Romero, a promotora de salud (health promoter) at Puentes de Salud, a non-profit that offers medical care to the Latinx and immigrant community in Philadelphia. In this short-documentary we visit Puebladephia, a South Philly area that many Mexican immigrants call home, and we also learn how important Alma’s work as promotora has been to the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
