Alma del Maìz

An experimental search for solidarity and interpretation. In Chiapas, Mexico we meet with two indigenous poets who write in the native language Tsotsil. Angelina shares a poem about the experience of being a woman and the patriarchal system. Mariano reflects on environmental destruction and the rights of nature. Through this encounter, Franca and Sonia begin to relate to their experiences and translate them into their own languages, which leads to a blend of voices in conversation.
