Alleviated pheasant populations
The COVID lockdowns saw that many pheasant shoots could not take place and thus the many birds which had been bred for this purpose suddenly had the potential to establish themselves in the ecosystem. This short video follows a pheasant family which chose to lay their nest in a garden strawberry patch in Gloucestershire.
