Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Allen (35) has always had a fascination with film. As soon as he knew how to write sentences he was composing stories on paper. In middle school he began learning the art of musical composition. It wasn't until after moving to Japan that he started to take his dream of becoming a filmmaker seriously. He studied color grading through the Color Grading Central Academy, and helped with the beta testing of CGC's Cinema Grade color grading plugins. He opened AJS Films LTD in Gunma, Japan specializing in memorial videos for sports team, weddings, funerals, etc. For the most part, he is a self-taught filmmaker who is now ready to present his personal work to the world.
