All Who Wander
Swept into the wind, four young adventurers abandon their sticks and bricks and embark into the lifestyle of a nomad. With no direction in mind, Madeline, Josh, Mark, and Marina take a journey across the U.S.A. inside an RV and a Box Truck against the backdrop of a changing world. Their bold decision is a part of a growing culture of full time road life - with over 2 million people living in RVs in 2019. All Who Wander celebrates the frontier of the open road, exploring the spirit of nomads as they travel, problem solve, fight, love, and uncover the secrets to unlocking their fullest potential. Every new adventure leads them to a community they could have never imagined discovering.

All Who Wander is Co-Directed by Josh Murphy, Daniel Gartzke, and Mark Dexter. The collective of three filmmakers have created 6 Feature Length Documentaries and 1 Short Documentary. Always present in the moment and living the best that could happen in all moments - this team is a family.
When we first drove away from our “sticks and bricks” it was surreal, it felt exhilarating; I was full of wanderlust and adrenaline. In the back of my mind, I knew this experience would be exactly what my relationship needed, but at the time I could have never expected what it would mean to me personally. In the 2 years I spent traveling the U.S. in “Big Booty Judy” I became who I truly was meant to be - directly by trial and error. The journey of Nomad life was so full of challenge, but each was but a growth experience to making us more patient, resilient, kind, curious. It was a master class in slowing your reality down and finding gratitude in all the small moments.
All Who Wander is meant to share that same feeling with it’s audience. We’re living in one of the most expensive times ever to be alive. We are constantly sold this idea of consumerism and following the rigid path of becoming a good productive labor drone for corporations. When we are trapped in lifestyles that hinder our growth, it muffles our creativity, our passions, and our inner light. That’s why understanding the nomadic movement is so important - it reflects an alternative lifestyle where self-expression, art, and community are forefront.
We hope to show the value of our grand adventure as a model for this who need it. When you travel life unravels, you face your demons - you face your battles. You find your darkness and shine your light. On this road of many high’s and many lows though, you’ll look around and be thankful for the people right by your side. Each incredible story you see in the film will present a community that is bound by values though they’ve never met. Each individual a wanderer, who is never lost.
