ILYA PLOTNIKOV
Ilya Plotnikov is a filmmaker and photographer based in Saint Petersburg, Russia. As a commercial photographer he has been chosen by Luerzer’s Archive as one of the best ad photographers in the world for two years in a row. His experience of working for major worldwide ad agencies such as McCann, BBDO and DDB among others has given him both creative and technical skills for transferring ideas from his mind to the screen. His idea of perfect movie is a balance between drama and comedy — just like real life.

YURA KUZNETSOV
Since childhood, Yura Kuznetsov was into literature, music and photography. He started filming about 20 years ago: family documentaries and simplest music videos with his buddies. In teenage years Yura made a somewhat meaningful music video (with his music) and gave it to his mother as a gift. And she still loves it. Since then, Yura dealt a lot with producing music, making photos, and collecting film ideas — but making real movie remained a distant wish for a great while. Until recently. Yura and his friend Ilya wrote a script, and produced their first short film, Portal. Yura’s movie influences are, among others, art-house and anime. He likes when various elements of art are mixed. Yura is finding his own voice as a filmmaker, to communicate his way through the movies.
