Director Biography - Yanis Cherif

Yanis Cherif is a 21-year-old filmmaker from Algeria and Tunisia whose passion for filmmaking came from his environment. Yanis grew up in a small town near Paris where the situation was not always easy. When Yanis moved to Qatar at 11 years old, he decided to pursue his passion for filmmaking where he could express everything he lived through in France with the art of moviemaking and cinematography.
