All About Chen

"All About Chen" is an independent short film with a queer color. The story takes place in a third-tier city in the south in 2008. It tells the story of Chen Ming in the drama "Si Fan" who reversed the nun and had an ambiguous affection for the male protagonist Li Ran, and finally found that his feelings were misaligned.
I originally wanted to make this film based on my understanding of transgender groups in life. When I have solved their survival constraints in society, I want to show what they face and experience through the film, so that more People resonate.
It is hoped that through the film, more people will realize that everyone has the right to define their own identity and can express their gender without fear of discrimination or violence.
