Alive

The film deals with the attempt of creating a bonding moment between two different generations in the same family, the first and third, grandparents and grandchildren, with the effort of appreciating and delighting the other, in an attempt to revive common ties, regardless of the weakness of possibilities and the journey's difficulties.

Thabet, the grandchild, embarks on a long journey to commemorate his father and the important moments he used to create for his mother, Thabet's grandmother, in an attempt to keep his memory tangible through what he loved to do.

In this film, we follow Thabet, a 10 years old child, in his search for copper parts in a hardware store to use in making a surprise for his grandmother, but the trouble is awaiting him with the shop owner, Abu Fahmi, as Thabet tries to quickly solve it in order to finish his mission in time.
