Director Statement

The experience I'm most trying to communicate with my first short film "A Little Pause" is that of emotions. The feeling of breaking for a child of Divorce. While this film has the growing child's pain and questions, it’s about beginnings, change, and how deeply funny turns life takes in its most serious moments. While this story is specific, I did not approach it as a “small” film. I only get to tell this story once, so I wanted it to be for a big audience. While Divorces are so common in today's world but think about the impact it has on your children.
I wish to make films because in my own small way I want to entertain and engage an audience and try to make a difference. I like to tell subjects and stories about people who inspire me and who I believe inspire others. I feel a personal resonance with the stories I wish to keep telling through my films.
