Director Biography - Ali Pourahmad

Ali Pourahmad is an Iranian former track and field athlete, former model, painter, music composer, visual effects supervisor, actor, film producer and director of science fiction genre.

Ali Pourahmad grew up in Bandar Abbas in southern Iran. He was a champion in track and field from 1985 to 1990 in Bandar Abbas.

Ali Pourahmad won the award for the best child painter in Bandar Abbas 1978. He received the award for the best painter in Bandar Abbas 1987 and 1988 and he won the award for the best painter in the country at the Ramsar Festival in 1989. Ali Pourahmad participated in the International Festival/Artist Oasis/Duabi 2004 and won the first award as the best painter.

Ali Pourahmad started music in 2000 and has composed nearly 700 music tracks in various styles. He started making films in 1990 and he’s made many fiction documentaries using simple special effects techniques at the time. In 2005, He started using visual effects (computer techniques) for his science fiction films. He has made a number of science fiction short films and the high level techniques used in these films have been praised by critics of the science fiction genre.

Ali Poorahmad is also a retired manager at Homa Airlines. He’s worked 30 years at Iran Air and retired in 2021.

Director Statement

Before watching this movie, I should point out that this movie is made from a combination of many CGI scenes with a remote collaboration between me in the south of Iran and my team in the US. Due to this limitation of a remote worj everything happened on stage not based on a pre-designed film production. This was a solution and a new way for me to gain a new experience by working remotely in a large scale of film making without a script. Maybe some part of the film's gaps are due to the impossibility of controlling everything on the set remotely. I made this movie with a low budget based on using 90% of visual effects on green screen footage whuch was sent by my team in America. Most the close-up, medium and the long shots are CGI created only using a GTX 560 Ti 1 GB graphic card which caused many limitation in 3D rendering of 200000 CGI frame with sophisticated vfx techniques for this movie by me.
