Algiz

An elderly scientist has been living at a high-altitude mountain cosmic ray station for a long time. Day after day he takes readings from experimental installations. At the same time he is raising a ten-year-old girl, who never saw other places except cosmic station.
One grandfather’s Japanese fairy tale inspires a girl to a long-awaited escape. Her goal is a mesmerising space that the scientist disappointingly calls "the big city". She leaves the mountains alone, fading into the unknown.
