Alexandra Vetter is a filmmaker currently living in Berlin. In 2010, she completed her Master's degree in Theatre, Film and Media Studies at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. She then specialised in documentary and short film production, shooting in Germany, the UK, Russia, Italy and Ireland. From 2013 to 2019, she co-organised the independent film group Dublin Filmmakers Collective in Ireland, where she held regular film events, workshops and screenings. Her work has been screened at several international film festivals including Bloomsday Film Festival and Undeground Cinema Film Festival in Ireland, Chicago Irish Film Festival in the US as well as Open Air Film Fest Weiterstadt, REFLECTA - Rethink Your World, Frankensteiner Film Festival, International Theatre Festival Frankfurt am Main "Sommerwerft" etc. in Germany. Her video works have been shown in various museums and galleries such as the Historisches Museum Frankfurt, Weltkulturen Museum, Ausstellungshalle 1A etc. In 2021, her film Flaneur was awarded as the Best Joycean Short Film by the James Joyce Centre.
