Hi! I’m Alexandra Cruz. I live in Santa Monica, California. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida where I started working as a professional performer when I was 9 years old. I'm a graduate of Miami's prestigious New World School of the Arts. I got a BA in Theater and Dance from The George Washington University and went on to achieve a Masters Degree in Public Health. I then performed in theater and independent film in Chicago for three years.

I’ve been working regularly in commercials and voiceover since moving to LA in 2016, having the honor of working with award winning comedy directors such as Craig Gillespie and Andrew Jay Cohen. I am a studio member at Crash Acting, working my acting muscle with my coach, Ben Mathes, weekly. I want to play a doctor or a pixie on screen. Either one. Or combine them for a sci-fi fantasy series? Now we’re talking!

In 2017, I branched out into production, being a part of the producing team for "Holoscenes", a world renowned site specific 5 hour performance art installation tackling sea level rise and the climate crises. "Holoscenes" has been performed in Times Square for the World Science Festival, at Miami Art Week, for the Gold Coast, Australia Commonwealth Games, amongst others. In 2019, I became a content producer creating BTS content for brands such as AT&T and Lady Gaga. In 2020, I self produced a comedy short about the pandemic that was selected for multiple comedy film festivals. This year my first documentary about immigration across our southern border is an official selection of the prestigious AmDocs Festival.
