David meets Alex in college, back in the '80's. They connect, in a way. However, as Alex begins to become who she is, they both realize they can't give each other what the other wants. In the end, though, maybe they manage to give each other what the other needs.

Director Biography - Larry LeFever

Late bloomer. 59 years old. Took a few screenwriting courses back in 2018. Participated in the Manhattan Film Institute's 2019 Summer Program (two-week filmmaking retreat). Produced "Alex and David" starting beginning of 2023. Shot it in June of this year.

I looked back through the years for experiences of special human connection. I came upon my relationship with a certain girl back in college in the '80's. That reminiscence became "Alex and David"
