Alex Pizano (born April 5, 1980) is a film director and screenwriter from Roraima, Brazil.
He has been working in the field of film directing since 2007, when he released the experimental medium-length film "Bloody Divide", followed by independent projects such as the feature film "Shadow Remnant" (2009), the short film "The Stranger" (2011), which received the Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the Tela Digital Film Festival on TV Brasil in 2011, "The Last Lament" (2012), and "Cavalcade of the Righteous" (2018). In 2021, he released the short film "Pallasite" (2021), which participated in and won awards at several national and international festivals. Also in 2022, he released the short period drama film called "Summer Winds", which received the award for “Best Photography” at the 6th Jaraguá do Sul Film Festival, in SC 2023, and the award for "Best International Short Film” at the Stockholm Short Film Festival, in Sweden. All fiction films made in the state of Roraima.
