Giving a voice to the stories of the absurd, the loud, the queer, the bullied and the loved.
She/they trained at the Lee Strasberg Institute, Atlantic Acting, Upright Citizen's Brigade, and received a BFA from The Hartt Conservatory for Acting and worked at Hartford Stage Co. as the lead dancer/dance captain/actor (coaching the dancers/actors during rehearsals) in two shows simultaneously, “A Christmas Carol,” and “Snow Falling on Cedars.” Alexandra learned a lot about filmmaking from working on many indie films as an actor (also doing some sound mixing work) and following the post production workload, asking questions and being as helpful as possible to the technical team during production. Alex studied sketch writing at Upright Citizen’s Brigade and applies that training to her script writing of all genres, drama and dark comedy alike. Follow directly on IG @thealexbeechko
