Alentexas
There are, among the imaginary sites, places that we will never find. But the man finds it, unveils it on a map where he himself wrote: Alentexas. The man has a shovel. And, crossing a village, in an assertive and restless pace, he expresses the contrast with the landscape. The man walks with a shovel, goes through the village, and heads for the plain. With a shovel, the man must be seeking a treasure.

"Parmenides responded: lightness is positive, weight negative. Was he correct or not?" (Milan Kundera)
The characters in films usually carry an ambition with them. It could be a professional ambition, a need for revenge, a quest for love... Stories are seldom written about those who seek only to be light.
Alentexas is a fictional place. Nowhere in the real world is it possible to find money in any hole you dig. Yet here, the difficult task is to dig up the emptiness. The goal is to find nothing.
Inspired by the book "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Milan Kundera, this short film aims to provide a possible answer to the weight-lightness dilemma. Yes, lightness is positive. It is, however, something exclusive to this fictional place.
