I studied neuroscience and animal behaviour and hold a PhD in animal cognition. After spending many years observing animals learning and reacting to the world I turned full-time natural history filmmaker in 2018. I have subsequently worked on documentary productions for BBC studios, conservation and research NGOs. I am experienced delivering a variety of formats, from online short form wildlife content to feature docs, often embedding for months on end in remote austere environments in search of elusive subjects, from desert lions and elephants to subarctic mountain hares and eagles.
My credits include AP, shooting P/D, cinematographer and director. My drive is to craft compelling narratives and make visually stunning films that encourage people to engage with and cherish nature.
I was selected as an Emerging League cinematographer in the International League of Conservation Photographers in 2023.
