Alcino was introduced to theatre in 2015 after his school drama teacher convinced him to attend a rehearsal at his black box theatre after football practice. Within one year, he went on to play in two professional productions in downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL., and win an accolade for best actor at American Heritage's regional one-act competition.
He began on-camera acting in 2018 when he joined the online sketch comedy team Slaughterhouse Comedy while studying at the University of Florida. His portrayal of Chicka-Chicka Chad, an over-the-top social media vlogger, won him local clout in Gainesville's comedy scene.
Graduating in the grip of the pandemic, he moved to Atlanta in the summer of 2020 to begin serious film acting. He has since starred in a handful of independent short films locally and in Miami, FL, where he is also based. He recently wrote, starred in, and produced his short film, "Seventh House of the Moon," in 2023 and is currently submitting it to festivals.
Alcino has trained with Jeff Cole in Atlanta in the Lee Strasberg and Uta Hagen method for three years.
