Director Statement

This film is about our minds. With the idea of a dream sequence becoming a lucid one, this film brings audience on a rollercoaster journey of strong emotions. Just like life, we sometimes get overwhelmed from the pressure around us and within us. While the takeaway is completely up to the audience, we hope that in some ways, Albert can help people know that they are not alone but more importantly, that we have control over our own chaotic minds.

Through the process of developing this film, I definitely felt a lot and reflected a lot about myself and i hope to be able to deliver this experience to the audience as well. Ultimately, what is important to me is not the message that i want to put across to the audience, but instead, what the audience can take away from the film. At the very end of the day, i just hope that the audience can find what is truly important to themselves, similar to how I found mine in Albert.
