I’m an award-winning writer/director/producer from North Yorkshire, England and passionate about Horror/Comedy and Historical Action/Adventure; I relish entertainment with a cerebral bite and happily jump between deadly serious and deadly silly (more the latter in my own short films). I’ve even optioned a few scripts and been commissioned to write four (cue applause)! None have been produced (cue tears).

I have a Film and Television Production degree from University ff Westminster and since then have done a variety of media jobs. I began my career at a Film Finance company in Miami (formerly Triangle Productions) as a PA, and left when they commissioned me to write a Vikings mini-series that at one point was to set to shoot with Scott Free Productions. They commissioned me to write an action film shortly after (at one point with A-list talent attached) and briefly a new version of Tarzan with permission from the Burroughs estate. I currently have a feature Historical Action/Adventure under option and have completed the first draft of a mafia thriller for a second time feature filmmaker.

But during the last decade my day job has been more focused on directing and producing digital promos, short dramas, educational/charity films, and short form content mainly for the BBC. But I’m currently a Development Researcher on a BBC One show that’s been going for 63 years! I direct/write passion projects when I can and when my bank balance isn’t in negative figures.
