With a degree in journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid, Emilio has worked in media such as Europa Press, Antena 3 and Vía Digital, as well as being a news editor for the newspaper Ultima Hora for four years. As a scriptwriter he has worked on the development of fiction series content for Movistar +, as a script doctor for various products and as a scriptwriter for the 327-episode soap opera Llàgrima de Sang and produced by the regional television IB3. He has studied film and television in Italy, Puerto Rico and the San Antonio de los Baños Film School (Cuba). In the literary field, he has won the UNED Short Narrative Award, the Margarita Xirgu Award for radio soap opera and the Art Jove Award for short story organized by the Balearic Government. In 2019 he was selected to be part of the SGAE Television Series Laboratory. He is currently developing a thriller project entitled Nada for the Irusoin production company (Loreak, La tinchera infinita).
