Al-Mustaqim
After completing his education at Ambrosali University in Edo state, Abdulsaquim returns to his hometown in Borno state, much to the dismay of his father. His father had sent him to Ambrosali as an escape plan to shield him from the clutches of loan sharks. According to the loan sharks, his father either settle his debt or offer his son Quim as a farm worker for five years. The father doesn’t want Quim to pay for his misfortune so he insist that Quim should go live a new life in Lagos, get a job and come back to clear their debt. Quim who fears that the loan shark might end up killing his father reluctantly agrees to his fathers plan. Upon arriving in Lagos, Quim is confronted with the harsh reality of a society plagued by unemployment. In his desperation and frustration, he finds himself caught up in unfortunate circumstance when he decides to turn his apartment into a mini motel resulting to the police finding a dead girl in his bathroom.

Onome Agbaje is a professional trained film maker who specialise in Creative Directing and Acting. She started her career in film making in 2010 as an actor both on stage and on screen with a film production house called Majesty production giving her a great edge in the industry as an Actor and Director. Onome’s passion for making very good and goal oriented films, made her so interested in every process of film making and this led her to venture into directing. In 2020 Onome Agbaje made her first film title “Enmity” as the director and major actor. In 2021 Onome Agbaje made her second and third film titled “Night before the dawn and Little Turbulence “ as the director and major actor as well. Moving on in her career she ventured into film documentaries, making her first film documentary titled “Pursuit “ in 2022. The documenting was birth out of true life experiences of child labour in Nigeria and Africa at large. In 2023, Onome’s ambition grew more and the dream to make a land mark in the industry made her move to Lagos in pursuit of her career and took a course in Directing at Ebony Life Creative Academy, where she got an in-depth training on film production with specialisation in Directing. There after she directed her film short film after film school titles “Al-Mustaqim.
