Akaal Bodhon - The Untimely Arrival
A documentary film by Esha Debnath and Pritika Mustafi, students of Xavier University, Bhuneswar, School of Communications on the plight of the people of Bengal during Covid with the fast approaching Durga Puja, the most awaited festival of Bengal. Shot during the pandemic, the film highlights the damage and hopelessness that the artisans of Bengal faced and what followed next. It also throws some light on the Pujo commitees and the people of Bengal, through a poetic monolgue and cinemtaic visuals.
