Director Biography - Matthew Danger Lippman

Matthew Danger Lippman is a musician, actor, & filmmaker based in Brooklyn. As a musician he has toured internationally and opened for acts like Foxygen, Shonen Knife, and Wild Pink. He was noticed on tour by director Andrew Morgan and subsequently written into his film SAMANTHA ROSE. From there, MDL made an appearance in, and wrote music for, Jordan Tetewsky's award-winning Slamdance feature debut HANNAH HA HA. He regularly interviews heroes for film publications, having interviewed luminaries as diverse as DRIVE MY CAR soundtrack composer Eiko Ishibashi, GET OUT actor Caleb Landry Jones, and FREDDY GOT FINGERED director Tom Green.

AIN'T NO CURE FOR LOVE: AMERICA is his first work as a writer/director.
