Quarterfinalist,
I’m a full-time writer, with an animated Sci-Fi script being produced by BlackOrb Studios. I write scripts with elements of Sci-Fi, fantasy and women achieving their dreams because I recently sold my software company after kissing lots of frogs. It was a fairy tale that came true. After completing UCLA’s Advanced Screenwriting Program I was a Nicholls and Austin finalist with four different scripts.
I love soccer. At one time, I either coached, played, or managed a dozen soccer teams. But I had a serious injury that meant my playing days were over. I played coed soccer and one late night, no women showed up - I was the only one and not used to playing alone. The team captain pulled me to a spot on the field and always run here if we had the ball, I did, and he either sent the ball to me and I scored, or they would all cover me, and I’d pass it to him, and he’d score. I scored a record-breaking 13 goals that night but I took a direct hit in the eye - ended up with a detached retina, so instead, I now join the estimated 2 billion people watching the Women’s FIFA World Cup. But I love to write about soccer.
My goal is to write Sci-Fi, fantasy and stories of underdogs achieving their dreams. I would like to write Bob Hearts Abishola, Young Sheldon, Strange New Worlds or the next Ted Lasso.
