Ahmari Kareem is an Atlanta-based Director and Production Assistant whose work includes A Better Love and The Viewing. Ahmari’s early interest in writing and general appreciation of the arts led her to earn a B.S. in marketing before starting her career as a Marketing and Event Coordinator. Her career aspirations shifted upon working as a production assistant and extra actress in the city of Chicago for shows like AMC’s 61st street. Ahmari’s experience in screenwriting, live show and event coordination, production assistantships, and more are the skills she currently leverages on her journey as a Director. Ahmari earned an M.F.A. in film production in October 2022 and graduated as the valedictorian of her class.
