A very large proportion of population in Nairobi, Kenya lives in slums, of which Kibera is the hugest one. This community has been lacking proper solid waste management system for long, leading to severe health-threatening pollution. This mini documentary depicts Kibera Green, a youth-led waste management team on how they work to clean up their neighborhood by solving the challenges they met. They are now making progress but still in need of external supports for the continuation of the project.
In Nairobi, the youth-led waste management groups like that exceed a number of 190.
