Agincourt
"Agincourt" follows two Jewish-American soldiers stationed in Northern France in 1944. The film takes its name from the small farming town of Agincourt, which in turn takes its name from the Battle of Agincourt, which took place there in 1415 and features prominently in Shakespeare's "King Henry the Fifth." The film plays out in a series of vignettes, much of the narration drawn directly from Shakespeare's play. "Agincourt" was conceptualized by Malcolm Quinn Silver-Van Meter in 2015, and written in early spring of 2017. Pre-production began in May 2017, and continued until production began in July of that year. The film's cast and crew was comprised almost entirely of local actors, artists, (and a few high school friends).
Produced in Thetford, Vermont by Malcolm Quinn Silver-Van Meter, Lincoln Alex MacVeagh, Hallie Zens, Eloise Van Meter, and Marcelo Blake.
