Two Austrians Against Hitler and Franco (Teaser)

Josef Eisenbauer and Gerhard Hoffmann, two 19 year old guys from Vienna decide to fight the uprising Fascism in the middle of the 30ties. They join the International Brigades fighting for the Spanish Republic. But they don't know that this will mean for them a 10 years odyssey that only ended after World War II.

Director Biography - Daniel Burkholz


Daniel Burkholz, born in Würzburg / Germany, is an award winning filmmaker. He first worked as journalist for newspaper and radio, as editor of a scientific magazine and also as photographer. Later, he worked in the fields of environment protection, education, civil rights, before he became a filmmaker. In 2005, he founded his company Roadside Dokumentarfilm. Since then, he is shooting and producing documentary films for cinema and TV. His films are succesfully presented on many international film festivals around the world
