Director Statement

This film is a Thailand and Japan co-production. Born in Hokkaido, the northernmost part of Japan, I met Chiang Rai, a city in the northern part of Thailand. I drew a universal theme of "happiness" in this city where the language and culture are completely different.

"Happiness" does not last long.
"Happiness" is next to anxiety and emptiness.
That's why people sway in that gap pursue.

people who have passed happiness,
people who let go of happiness themselves,
people who are scared to know happiness,
people who give happiness ...

It is a story in which characters who suffer from "memory" and "talent" and face each other look at what happiness is.
