Ayobola Eniola was born on November 9, 1992, in Ibadan - the largest city by geographical size in Nigeria and West-Africa - where he grew up, immersed in the rich history of the capital city. After graduating from Obafemi Awolowo University with a Bachelor of Science in Geology, he decided to fully transition into the world of media and entertainment, where his interest had always been. Knowing his flair for storytelling, he knew he had the creative range to function across the disciplines of writing, directing and producing. He wrote and directed a short film, "Torn Within" in 2014, and followed up his directorial efforts with another, "After One," which received acclaim with its audience and is available on YouTube. He has experience producing unscripted audio-visual content including, #WithChude, a syndicated talk show across some of Nigeria's leading broadcast stations. With his writing partner, he has co-written films like Code Wilo (Directed by Mike Steve-Adeleye; Produced by Hauwa Allahbura), Paternity Deal (Directed by Cletus Clement; Produced by Kayode Peters), and Dead Rite (Directed by Tope Alake; Produced by Kayode Peters). He writes under the pen name - Titi Emmanuel.
The struggle of new Moms and dealing with postpartum depression isn't often talked about. This was the inspiration behind this film. Since it premiered, the producing team have had people send in their personal stories after seeing After One. It has been a truly fulfilling journey to see women, especially young mums, share how they feel seen, heard and represented through this short film.
