The Afro International Cultural Film Festival (AICFF) kicks off its inaugural annual event dedicated to showcasing exceptional Indie film and television content by and about people of African descent from around the world. Held from July 2 - 5 2020, in beautiful Frankfurt, Germany, a global hub for commerce, culture, education, tourism and transportation, The AICFF will take place in the luxurious Capitol Theater and the CinemaxX Theaters, while coinciding with the Afro International Cultural Expo & Music Fest July 2 – 7, 2020. The AICFF supports established and emerging artists to showcase a wider range of images, stories and storytellers represented in the entertainment industry. The AICFF is committed to serving as a vital channel for Black talent in front of and behind the camera and presenting it to an International audience.

The AICFF is comprised of three days of over 50 films, master classes, engaging panels, script stage readings, networking events and more…from the star-studded opening night screening and concert to the inspirational closing filmmaker ceremony.

The AICFF will screen films with persons of African descent in at least four of the following five key creative roles: Writer, Producer, Director, Cinematographer, and Lead Performer. Films completed after January 2018 are eligible. International films, as well as films from students, are encouraged and welcomed. All English-speaking films must be in German Subtitles and Non-English speaking films must be in English Subtitles.
