Director Biography - Shannon Mahoney

Shannon Mahoney is an Editor and documentary filmmaker from New Hampshire, USA. She studied Film and Anthropology at Bennington College, Vermont. She is currently studying for a Masters degree at the London Film School. Since then she worked in several international productions as Picture and Sound Editor, edited “Thief” in Mandarin and “Sac a Poche” in Italian. Her feature documentary film “Kaustinen: The Life of Finnish Folk Music” portrays a well known music festival in Finland.
